What would digital news look like if print had never existed? We worked with a national newspaper to imagine a mobile-first news experience shaped around how people consume content today, with information overload and growing news avoidance front of mind. The work focused on testing and shaping a clear strategy that worked with the realities of the existing newsroom, while elevating what makes the brand distinct. We brought the vision to life through a set of future-facing features that clearly defined what the app should be and, just as importantly, what it should not be.
